Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Central Finds Home Court Redemption Against Sugar Creek Christian Academy

There's no place like home for St. Joseph Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Sugar Creek Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday as the St. Joseph Central Flyers made off with a 75-52 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-21.

Despite the loss, Sugar Creek Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Will Salyers, who posted 36 points and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Wheeler, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 boards.

St. Joseph Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Sugar Creek Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

St. Joseph Central has already played their next matchup (against Notre Dame), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sugar Creek Christian Academy will be playing at home against Covenant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
