Churchill came out on top against Dearborn on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Chargers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Pioneers. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

Churchill is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Dearborn, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16-2.

Churchill will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pioneers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
