Soccer Preview: Aloha Meets Tualatin

The Aloha Warriors will challenge the Tualatin Timberwolves at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Aloha: they have been struggling with nine straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Tualatin has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Aloha's offense. They came up short against Gresham, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that Aloha have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, Tualatin kept a clean sheet against Southridge on Thursday. They blew past the Skyhawks 3-0. Give Tualatin's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Aloha's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tualatin, the win improved their record to 3-0-1.

Everything went Aloha's way against Tualatin when the teams last played on September 5, 2023 three seasons ago, as Aloha made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll find out soon enough.
