Monroe is 4-0 against Waldport since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Monroe Dragons will head out on the road to take on the Waldport Irish at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Monroe can't be too worried about heading out to take on Waldport: they just beat Central Linn at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Monroe came out on top against Central Linn by a score of 38-29 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Meanwhile, Waldport had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Toledo 35-21 on Tuesday.

Monroe is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Waldport, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Monroe took their win against Waldport in their previous meeting on January 14th by a conclusive 66-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Monroe since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
