Game recap: Corona del Mar High School Football Team wins against Pacifica

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, Calif.) and Pacifica (Garden Grove, Calif.) both tightened up defensively, but Corona del Mar managed to score enough to pull out the 14-0 victory.

The Sea Kings scored on two rushing touchdowns to secure the victory.

The lead that Corona del Mar took on a Cole Martin touchdown run with 3:00 left in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.

Corona del Mar (1-0) goes up against Laguna Hills in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Pacifica (0-1) locks horns with Bellflower also in a non-conference game.
