Basketball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 33-12 to the St. Francis Borgia Knights. The game marked the Shamrocks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

New Haven's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for St. Francis Borgia, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

New Haven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-13 victory against Wellsville-Middletown on the 24th. As for St. Francis Borgia, they will square off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
