After a string of seven wins, Eastmont's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 77-48 loss at the hands of the Davis Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Pirates are ranked fourth).

Eastmont's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Davis, their record now sits at 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastmont will welcome Sunnyside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Eastmont is facing Sunnyside at the right time seeing as Sunnyside is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Davis, they will be playing at home against Moses Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
