Basketball Game Preview: Talawanda Brave vs. Northwest Knights

The Talawanda Brave will face off against the Northwest Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Talawanda has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Talawanda fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Edgewood on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Brave have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Northwest put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Cincinnati Country Day with points to spare, taking the game 47-32.

Talawanda's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Talawanda ended up a good deal behind Northwest in their previous matchup back in January, losing 58-43. Can Talawanda avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
