Plattsburgh benefitted from Abernethy in 14-3 win
Kal Abernethy produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Plattsburgh to the win on Wednesday. Northeastern Clinton had no answer to Abernethy as he went 4-for-4 with three runs and four RBI.
Abernethy's strong effort led Plattsburgh over Northeastern Clinton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plattsburgh is 10-0 against Northeastern Clinton going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
