Fulton waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Austin-East Roadrunners by a score of 3-1. Given Fulton's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Austin-East are ranked 208th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Junior Mejia Cruz and Denis Renia Padilla scored all three of Fulton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Fulton now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for Austin-East, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Fulton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against Cocke County on the 22nd. As for Austin-East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-3 win against Northview Academy on the 28th.
