Soccer Recap: Lexington Continues Home Dominance on Monday

After failing to score in their last matchup, Lexington made sure to put some goals up on the board against Gering on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Bulldogs. Kendrick Marroquin was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Lexington's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five contests. As for Gering, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
