Soccer Game Preview: Crosby vs. Pasadena

The Crosby Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Pasadena Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crosby's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Crosby challenged Kingwood Park on Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Pasadena was not quite Kingwood Park's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Pasadena can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 642nd, while Kingwood Park are ranked 317th).

This is the second loss in a row for Pasadena and nudges their season record down to 2-5. Crosby's draw makes their record 7-2-4 this season.

Crosby came out on top in a nail-biter against Pasadena in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
