Basketball Recap: East Paulding Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kennesaw Mountain last Tuesday, East Paulding came back down to earth. The East Paulding Raiders were dealt a 50-15 defeat at the hands of the Rome Wolves on Thursday. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-5.

East Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Rome, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Coming up, East Paulding will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Lithia Springs at 3:00 p.m. East Paulding is facing Lithia Springs at the right time seeing as Lithia Springs is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Rome does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
