Football Game Preview: Cordova Blue Devils vs. Haleyville Lions + How To Watch

The Cordova Blue Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Haleyville Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Cordova and nine for Haleyville.

On Friday, Cordova was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 22-18 to Fultondale.

Meanwhile, Haleyville played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Hamilton, falling 56-14. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Aggies are ranked 105th).

Haleyville's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cordova, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Things could have been worse for Cordova, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 21-7 loss to Haleyville when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
