It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Maricopa can now relate to. They fell just short of the Arizona College Prep Knights by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Maricopa sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 26-24, 21-25, 15-9.

Zoe Anderson was nothing short of spectacular for Arizona College Prep: she had 18 digs and three assists.

Maricopa's loss dropped their record down to 21-15. As for Arizona College Prep, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 14-18-2.

Maricopa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arizona College Prep, they will face off against Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
