Softball Game Preview: Newport Grizzlies vs. Northwest Christian School Crusaders

The Newport Grizzlies will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Northwest Christian School Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newport will be strutting in after a win while Northwest Christian School will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Newport earned a 9-5 victory over Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna.

Meanwhile, Northwest Christian School fell victim to Liberty and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost three in a row.
