Basketball Recap: Cuffee/St. Patrick Academy Comes Up Short

Cuffee/St. Patrick Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Hope Blue Wave 71-12.

Hope found their leader in sophomore Jorday Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah Brito, who posted 12 points and six steals.

Cuffee/St. Patrick Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hope, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Cuffee/St. Patrick Academy has already played their next contest (against Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hope didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-9 win against Achievement First Providence on the 16th.
