Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Bloomingdale

Bloomingdale's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Belpre Christian Academy Patriots by a score of 67-58. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Blazers considering their 23-point performance the game before.

Bloomingdale got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Schiedler out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. Those 25 points gave Schiedler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caleb McClung, who went 7-for-8 en route to 18 points and four steals.

Bloomingdale's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Belpre Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-1.

Bloomingdale has already played their next contest, an 83-57 win against New Life Christian Academy on the 18th. As for Belpre Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-43 loss against Ohio Valley Christian on the 18th.
