Basketball Recap: Leesville Road Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Leesville Road was the 63-53 winner over Panther Creek when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pride were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 75-74 to the Catamounts. The loss put an end to the Pride's undefeated start to the season.

Panther Creek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zy'Vaun Puckett out in front who shot 53% from the field to rack up 27 points along with eight boards and six assists. Thanks to that strong game, Puckett now owns an excellent 46.3% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Korey Smith, who went 6-for-13 en route to 19 points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Leesville Road fell to 2-1. As for Panther Creek, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Leesville Road will square off against Cary at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Panther Creek, they will host Southeast Raleigh at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
