Volleyball Recap: Valmeyer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Valmeyer lost against Chester back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Yellowjackets. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 5, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-9.

Kadence Seitz paced Valmeyer's offense, picking up six kills. Seitz got some help from Maddi Huddleston and her 12 assists.

Valmeyer's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15-1. As for Chester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Valmeyer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Carlyle on the 30th. As for Chester, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Okawville on the 30th.
