Jones's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sinton Pirates. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Jones was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21.

Harper Green paced Jones' offense, picking up 27 kills. Green got some help from Khloe Avalos and her 42 assists. Abby Delbosque and Julianna Delarosa kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Jones' victory bumped their record up to 33-5. As for Sinton, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-15.

Coincidentally, Jones and Sinton will both be playing Rockport-Fulton the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
