Basketball Preview: Sky View Bobcats vs. Logan Grizzlies
Sky View is 8-2 against the Grizzlies since February of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Sky View Bobcats will look to defend their home court against the Logan Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Sky View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 14th).
Even though Bear River scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Sky View still came out on top. Sky View secured a 61-57 W over the Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sky View.
Logan has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell to Mountain Crest 53-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Logan has scored all season.
Sky View's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Logan, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.
Sky View came up short against the Grizzlies in their previous matchup back in January, falling 65-52. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Logan's Jordan Child, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and six blocks. Now that Sky View knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
