Basketball Game Preview: Milford Eagles vs. Minden Whippets

Milford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 61-40 margin over Arlington. Milford has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Minden faced Scotus in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Minden secured a 42-37 W over Scotus. Winning may never get old, but the Whippets sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Milford's victory bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Minden, their win bumped their record up to 25-2.

Milford came up short against Minden when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 47-34. Can Milford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
