Volleyball Recap: Lake Wales Takes a Loss

Lake Wales was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the George Jenkins Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on March 10th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-20, 25-11.

Lake Wales' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for George Jenkins, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Looking ahead, Lake Wales will head out on the road to challenge Bartow at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for George Jenkins, they will welcome Lake Region at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
