The Howard Hawks entered their tilt with the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf Panthers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Howard strolled past Atlanta Area School for the Deaf with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 35-18. Howard pushed the score to 31-8 by the end of the third, a deficit Atlanta Area School for the Deaf cut but never quite recovered from.
Howard can attribute much of their success to Ava Beck, who scored 16 points.
Howard's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Atlanta Area School for the Deaf, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Howard won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cottage at 4:30 p.m. on January 26th.
