Softball Recap: Raines Has No Trouble Against Parker

Raines never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Parker on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 23-11 win. Considering the Vikings have won three matchups by more than 11 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

BLESSKA CADET was a standout: she scored four runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of JAZZMAN HARRIS, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

CADET wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Raines kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. They got nine more hits than Parker's also-impressive total of 12.

Raines' victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Parker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Raines didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-10 win against Englewood on the 31st. As for Parker, they will challenge ED White at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parker is facing ED White at the right time seeing as ED White is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
