Sultan not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 18, 2024 (when they won 67-42). They blew past the La Conner Braves 69-44. This was payback for the Turks, who suffered a 58-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sultan was led to victory by Semaj Stewart and Jordan Kelso. Stewart shot 57% from the field en route to 22 points along with seven boards and five steals, while Kelso went 5-for-7 on his way to 11 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Joey Ellis, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Sultan was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as La Conner only posted two.

With the victory, Sultan broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for La Conner, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sultan will square off against Cascade at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for La Conner, they will venture away from home to square off against Friday Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
