Cape Elizabeth is 9-0-1 against Freeport since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Capers will host the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Cape Elizabeth is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.6 goals per game this season.

Cape Elizabeth's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Traip with a sharp 7-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Cape Elizabeth's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Traip are ranked 30th).

Cape Elizabeth's offense was hitting Traip from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Hailey Gorman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Freeport was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Traip could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Cape Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. Freeport's draw makes their record 6-6-1 this season.
