Cedar Key fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down the Riverside Christian Wranglers 36-22 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Sharks: when they faced off against the Wranglers back in November of 2025, they had to take a 52-37 defeat.

Several Wranglers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xariah Medina, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylen Pate, who earned seven points.

Cedar Key's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Riverside Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Coming up, Cedar Key will challenge Saint Francis Catholic Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside Christian, they have already played their next matchup, a 50-12 win against Gainesville Christian Community on the 22nd.
