Capital was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Gallup on Saturday. Capital was the clear victor by an 8-2 margin over Gallup. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Capital's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Gallup, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capital will challenge St. Michael's at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gallup, they will face off against Miyamura at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gallup's pitchers better be ready for this one: Miyamura has averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
