Basketball Recap: Ontonagon Takes a Loss

Ontonagon was the 38-31 winner over Johnston when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ontonagon Gladiators fell to the Johnston Speedboys 55-49. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ontonagon's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Johnston, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Watersmeet the next time they take the court. Johnston will host Watersmeet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Ontonagon will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 10th.
