Volleyball Recap: Paso Robles Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Paso Robles can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roosevelt Rough Riders on Thursday.

Paso Robles was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Roosevelt work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 26-24.

Paso Robles has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Roosevelt, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-17.

Paso Robles does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to face off against Orcutt Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Rough Riders surely won't give up without a fight.
