Soccer Game Preview: Sipsey Valley vs. Indian Springs

The Sipsey Valley Bears will head out to challenge the Indian Springs Student at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sipsey Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Sipsey Valley fell victim to Montevallo and their airtight defense two weeks ago. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Indian Springs hasn't lost a match since February 20th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They never let Westminster School at Oak Mountain get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering the Student have won five matches by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Indian Springs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those five games. Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
