Baseball Preview: Roane County Yellowjackets vs. Lenoir City Panthers
Roane County hasn't had much luck against Lenoir City recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Roane County Yellowjackets will square off against the Lenoir City Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Roane County is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
Roane County gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Rhea County as Roane County made off with an 11-3 victory.
Blake Hester was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Hester was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Roane County got a massive performance out of Ryan Wilkins, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Brighton Presley, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Isaac Dye was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI.
Roane County's record now sits at 3-0. As for Lenoir City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
