Volleyball Recap: La Habra Highlanders vs. Brea Olinda Wildcats
La Habra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They came up short against the Brea Olinda Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.
La Habra took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.
La Habra's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Brea Olinda, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.
Looking ahead, La Habra will welcome La Mirada at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brea Olinda, they will head out to challenge Magnolia at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
