Volleyball Recap: Berrien Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Berrien Springs lost against South Haven back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Shamrocks fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2. The Shamrocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Berrien Springs wouldn't go down easily and took South Haven into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 20-25, 25-18, 15-9.

Kathryn Bergan paced Berrien Springs' offense, picking up 18 kills. Bergan got some help from Vivienne Kittleson and her 35 assists. Kittleson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Berrien Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 14-16-4. As for South Haven, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-1 record this season.

Berrien Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Brandywine on the 11th. As for South Haven, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Leland on the 11th.
