Pacelli has gone a perfect 10-0 against Rosholt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cardinals will look to defend their home field against the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pacelli has 33 straight wins, Rosholt has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Pacelli proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 16) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Almond-Bancroft a 2-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cardinals have posted since April 25th.

Meanwhile, Rosholt lost 12-2 to Wild Rose on Monday.

Rosholt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sami Kaminski, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Pacelli pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Rosholt, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Everything went Pacelli's way against Rosholt in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Pacelli made off with a 17-0 win. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
