Softball Recap: Emerson Falls to Nevada in First Game of Season

Emerson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 22-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nevada Blue Jays on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Nevada and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Emerson is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Hermitage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nevada, they will square off against Mount Ida at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
