Volleyball Recap: Millard West Beats Burke for Their Third Straight Victory

Millard West entered their tilt with Burke on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The Wildcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Millard West took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-7.

Millard West's record is now 12-9. As for Burke, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-18.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Millard West will challenge rival Grand Island on Thursday. Meanwhile, Burke is set to square off against their familiar foe Benson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
