Softball Recap: Bishop Canevin Comes Up Short

Bishop Canevin fell victim to Chartiers-Houston and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Crusaders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bishop Canevin is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2. As for Chartiers-Houston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Canevin will challenge Northgate at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chartiers-Houston, they will face off against Yough at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
