Basketball Recap: Tipton Victorious

Tipton won against Wilton last Friday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Tipton Tigers had just enough and edged the Washington Demons out 60-57. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Tipton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Washington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Tipton has already played their next match, a 51-49 win against West Branch on the 7th. As for Washington, they will challenge Burlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Washington is facing Burlington at the right time seeing as Burlington is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
