Soccer Recap: Connally Comes Up Short

Connally pushed their score to zero the last time they played Lorena, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Connally Cadets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lorena Leopards. The Cadets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Connally's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Lorena, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Connally has already played their next game (against Georgetown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lorena will welcome University at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. University's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
