Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palmyra). They snuck past the South Hunterdon Eagles with a 64-58 win on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Palmyra's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for South Hunterdon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmyra will venture away from home to challenge Florence Township Memorial at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for South Hunterdon, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the South Hunterdon Eagles face off against the Middlesex Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
