Baseball Recap: Hunters Lane Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Hunters Lane was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the LaVergne Wolverines, falling 10-2. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Hunters Lane saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Reese, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. Ridha Alghatas was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hunters Lane fell to 2-1. As for LaVergne, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

While Hunters Lane had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
