Volleyball Recap: Jack Britt's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over + How To Watch

If Jack Britt was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of St. Pauls on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Buccaneers fell 3-1 to the Hoke County Bucks on Tuesday. The Buccaneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bucks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

While Jack Britt ultimately came up short, they really made Hoke County work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-15, 19-25, 25-23.

Lauren Coleman paced Jack Britt's offense, picking up 13 kills. Coleman got some help from Olivia Montoya and her 27 assists. Karson Ives controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Aaliyah Carter went supernova For Hoke County., getting eight digs and three aces. Carter is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.
