Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost against Highland Home last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Central lost 11-1 to Highland Home. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Highland Home, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Central Lions take on Calhoun Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Central their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Highland Home, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Elba at 4:30 p.m. on April 8.
