Soccer Recap: York Institute Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, York Institute was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Livingston Academy Wildcats finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Tyler Homan and Jameson Wright scored both of York Institute's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

With that draw, York Institute's record moves to 1-2-1. Meanwhile, Livingston Academy's record is now 2-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York Institute will square off against Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. York Institute is facing Smith County at the right time seeing as Smith County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Livingston Academy won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on White County at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
