It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jasper County had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 44-13 win over the Gordon Central Warriors. Considering the Hurricanes have won six matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chance Ross continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 178 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. Another player making a difference was JaMarkus Thomas, who threw for 54 yards and a pair of TDs.

Jasper County's record is now 10-1. As for Gordon Central, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Jasper County will welcome Pepperell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gordon Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
