If Westlake Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played HomeSchool Resource Center, they should've done a better job of containing Noel Green. The HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots came out on top against the Westlake Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 43-31 on Thursday thanks in part to Green, who went 10 of 15 to rack up 21 points along with seven boards and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.7% field goal percentage.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cody Lovelace, who posted seven points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of James Leach, who scored six points.

The win made it two in a row for HomeSchool Resource Center and bumps their season record up to 9-17. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

HomeSchool Resource Center has already played their next matchup, a 43-32 loss against Hammond Baptist on the 6th. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-37 defeat against Kankakee Trinity Academy on the 1st.
