Jackson Shusda gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Dover-Sherborn is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.

Shusda's strong effort led Dover-Sherborn over Sharon and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Eagles are limping into the matchup having lost four straight on the road dating back to last season.
